The New Hampshire Avalanche this past week was accepted into the NEHL for play beginning in the 2009-10 season. The Hooksett-based program will be a welcomed addition to the NEHL and will raise the level of competition across the board from Mites through Bantam Major. The NH Avalanche program is coming off a strong season of play in their final year in the Metropolitan Boston Hockey League (MBHL) with seven of its teams finishing in third place or higher. Three Avalanche teams finished the 2008-09 regular season in the #1 spot including the '96 squad and two undefeated teams -  the '98 team (30-0-0) and the '00 team (17-0-1), which is a testament to the overall talent in the organization. The NEHL looks forward to another top program in New England joining what is already perceived as the premier AAA League in New England and will make for a very competitive 2009-10 season.

Jack Egbert and Alex Caouette shared the shutout as the 94Vipers defeated the Cyclones, 4-0 and earning a trip to the playoffs. 

Ryan Noonan wore the hat and had an assist in a 9-5 win over Seacoast.

Their performance earned them the NEHL Player of the Week Honors for the week ending 2/22/09.

The Greater Boston Vipers are pleased to announce their stable of high quality coaches for the upcoming 2009-10 season.  "Teaching from Experience", the Vipers coaches bring their own unique experiences from their backgrounds in professional, collegiate, high school & youth hockey programs. This experienced coaching staff accompanied by the Vipers aggressive skills development program, establishes a base to enable each player to develop his/her skills in a progressive environment.

Last night was the 1st session fo the Young Vipers program specializing in skating skills for the 2001-2002 skaters.  Due to the overwhelming # of signups, we have added an additional session @ 6:20pm. Nightly walk-ons are not allowed.   If you are interested in signing up for future camps, please email: vipers@vipersicehockey.com

Two Vipers were honored this week by the NEHL as players of the week ending 12/13/08.  Manfriedi of the 97Vipers and Jake Mecrones of the 00Vipers, were outstanding in their league games throughout the weekend.  Congratulations!
