As of 1:30pm, the Holland Arena will remain open for this evenings events.  All Vipers practices & Young Vipers skill sessions will be open.  In Boston, the snow has changed over to rain and roads are fairly clear.  Please drive carefully and we'll see you at the rink!

Last night was the 1st session fo the Young Vipers program specializing in skating skills for the 2001-2002 skaters.  Due to the overwhelming # of signups, we have added an additional session @ 6:20pm. Nightly walk-ons are not allowed.   If you are interested in signing up for future camps, please email: vipers@vipersicehockey.com

All sessions are held at the Holland Arena in Woburn, MA.

Two Vipers were honored this week by the NEHL as players of the week ending 12/13/08.  Manfriedi of the 97Vipers and Jake Mecrones of the 00Vipers, were outstanding in their league games throughout the weekend.  Congratulations!

Due to the snow storm, please check with your coaches as to whether events have been cancelled or not.  Some rinks have decided to preemptively close and cancel tonights events and some have not.  Please call your coach if you have questions.

SQUIRT EAST
Nashua had a win and a tie against the Vipers. Kyle Feeney had the winner late in the second period and Nashua built a 3-0 lead and held on for a 3-2 victory as Kyle Hentosh had 1-1-2 for the Vipers - and Chris Goggin scored with 2:13 left to give the Vipers a 2-2 tie with Nashua.

SQUIRT WEST
Nick Salgado had a goal and an assist as the Vipers beat the Monsters, 4-0.

Caroline Kukas pitched a shutout and Jake Mecrones had a goal and an assist to lead the Vipers to a 2-0 victory over the Cyclones.

The Future Vipers will be starting their weekly skills session in January.  All sessions will be run by Select Skills Hockey with a concentration on overall skating development and fun.  Any players born in 2001-2002 are eligible to enroll.   It will be held each Wednesday at the Holland Arena in Woburn, MA.  Any interested candidates should contact vipers@vipersicehockey.com as this will be a limited enrollment.   

Goalie Skills for 00/99/98 Goalies is scheduled Tuesday 10/28 @ 7pm.

The annual Vipers Comedy Night at Kowloon Restaurant is scheduled for Thursday, October 23^rd, 2008 @ 6:30pm.  This will be a really fun evening for all the parents to get to know one another and gives us all a chance to relax away from the rinks.  Tickets will be available from each team's manager or coach and include food and the comedy show.  

The Vipers Organization is seeking items that we can auction and raffle.  If you are able to donate an item for auction, or know someone that will, please contact us at vipers@vipersicehockey.com
