The 98's turned in a very solid effort in earning a 2-2 tie with the Vermont Glades a team that had beaten them 6-0 very early in the season. The Glades would jump out 1-0 with just 29 seconds left in the period. Heath King would pounce on a loose puck in front and jam home the rebound to tie things up at 1, helpers went to Brendan White and JT Chamberlain. Andrew Krajeski's play in the net would allow the Vipers to stage a late comback as Kyle Lynch would break down the left wing and fire a wrist shot that would deflect of a Glades defenseman and find the back of the net to tie the score with 1:39 left in the game, Ryan Connearney would get the assist as he made a nice outlet pass to send Lynchy in on the 1 on 1.
