99Vipers v Blazers, 9-4

The Vipers faced off against the Boch Blazers in the first game of a home and home series.  After a slow start, the Vipers poured it on racking up a 9 of total goals.  The Vipers were lead by Michael Gillis and Sal Costanzo who had two goals each.  Also tallying for the Vipers were Greg McGunigle, Conor Crovo, Rob Tibbets, Sam Cioffi and Kasey O’Brien.

 

99Vipers Wrap Up Red Ranger, 6-3

The 99Vipers extended their winning streak to four games with a win over the Red Rangers.  The Red Rangers have been a very tough opponent this year and the Vipers were finally able to secure a victory.  Rob Tibbetts once again tallied twice to pace the scoring.  Alex Daccord was terrific in net not allowing a goal in a period and half of play.  The Red Rangers pulled their goalie with 2 minutes to go creating havoc in the Vipers end.  Mick Guanci came up with two blocked shots in the closing minute to help preserve the lead and then fed David Melanson for an empty net goal .       

 

99Vipers Take Advantage, 4-1

The '99 Vipers continued a great weekend with a win over the Boston Advantage. Luke Scaramozzino continued his consistent defense and added his first goal of the season.
 

99Vipers Relax by Seacoast, 6-4

The 99Vipers started off a successful weekend with a win over a much improved Seacoast Spartans team.   The line of Sal Costanzo, Michael Gillis and Rob Tibbetts provided the offense combined with great two-way play.   

 

99Elites Deadlocked with Red Rangers, 1-1

True to form, the Vipers and Red Rangers played another great game.   The offense had plenty of pressure outshooting the Red Rangers for most the game.   The Vipers defense continues to be solid allowing just two goals in the last three games.  The defense is made up of three pairing – Greg McGunigle and Luke Scaromozzino, Mick Guanci and Bobby Pearl and Liam Brennan with Nico Scalli.  All three pairings get better each week.
