One week removed from beating the Warrior Elites with just 2 minutes remaining the Vipers used a Christian Kukas slapper with just 40 seconds left in the game to earn the 3-3 tie with the Warriors, giving the Vipers 3 out of the last 4 points with the league leading Warriors. VJW would get on the board first in the first minute and a half of the game on the PP. The Vipers would come back to tie the game just a minute into the second period on Dante Maribito's first of two goals, Kyle Hentosh and Patrick McCarthy would pick up the assists on the nice rush by Maribito. The Warriors would go ahead just 2 minutes later and go up 3-2 with a late second period goal. That would set the stages for Kukas's heroics as the Vipers would pull their goalie with over a minute left, the Warriors would just miss a chance at the empty net on a clear and would actually have possesion in the Viper end with no goalie but could not put the game away. With 44 seocnds left the puck would squirt out to the point and Christian Kukas would step in to a slapshot and it would end up over the goalies glove for the thrilling 3-3 tie.
