Trying to avenge their worst loss of the season just one week prior the 98s traveled to Enfield to take on the high flying Flacons, the Vipers played a very strong game but could not come away with any points as they fell 6-4 to the Falcons and friends. The Vipers would come out of the gates strong but unfortunately the officials didn't as just 1 minute into the game the officials would credit a goal to the home team that never came close to going in as it struck both goal posts and came out. That misfortune seemed to rally the troops as the Vipers would score the next 2 goals as Brendan White (1-1-2) and JT Chamberlain (2-1-3) would jam home goal mouth scrambles to give the visitors a 2-1 lead after 1. The home team would then score 3 in the second sandwiched around another Chamberlain beauty, but would be trailing 4-3 after 2 periods. Braden Haley would score the Vipers fourth goal from Rob Murphy and Alex Delvento but it was just to little to late against the Falcons. The Vipers also had a goal taken away from them in this one as well as lady luck certainly was certainly not on their side in this one. Matty Tauro would also pick up an assist in this one.

In a game that resembled a tractor pull at times the 98 Vipers used a Kyle Lynch goal with 1:47 to play to take a 3-2 victory on the road and win the season series against the talented PA Selects. That goal would also give Lynchy the hat for the day as he was a man on a mission in this one. Lynchy (3-0-3) would get the visitors on the board early in the second after a scoreless first period, linemates Dante Maribito (0-2-2) and Kyle Hentosh(0-2-2) would help out on the first goal. The Panthers would score the next 2 goals to take the 2-1 lead into the third period, but with 6 minutes left Hentosh would get the puck back to Christain Kukas (0-1-1) on the point, his shot would end up on the stick of Lynchy and he would deposit it over the Nashua goalies glove hand for the tie. Then just 10 seconds after killing a penalty Lynchy would come out of the box and storming into the offensive zone and bang in a rebound for the winner.

This past Saturday the Vipers hosted the powerful New England Falcons and the Vipers could do nothing to stop the Falcon offensive show as they scored 3 goals in each of the first two periods and 4 in the third on their way to the route and the 98 Vipers worst loss in team history. The Vipers will look to rebound next week with 2 big league games, one of which will be a rematch with the Falcons.

The Vipers were looking to wrap up their incredible weekend which consisted of 4 games in 3 days in 3 different states in style as they took the ice against a very tough Spartan team. As expected the visitors came out very sluggish to start and found themselves down 1-0 early in the first period. Dante Maribito (2-0-2) from Kyle Lynch (0-1-1) and Kyle Hentosh (0-2-2) would tie the score at 1 just 30 seconds into the second period, just 16 seconds later Noah Maercklein (1-0-1) would knock one in with help from JT Chamberlain (1-1-2) and Brendan White (1-2-3) to go up 2-1. The Spartans would then score to even the score but then just 50 seconds later and with just 1 minute left in the second period Brendan White put the dagger in the Spartans as he jumped on a loose puck in front of the net and knocked in the shorthanded goal. Dante Maribito and JT Chamberlain would add the third period goals. The defense of Aaron Dollin, Matty Tauro, Alex DelVento, Christian Kukas and Greg McHale played a fine physical game on the blueline. Aaron McDonnell got the start and played well making a huge save on a breakaway when the game was tied at 2, that and Whitey's shorty were certainly the plays of the game. The Vipers finished the weekend up at an impressive 3-0-1, and have been 8-0-3 in their last 11 league games which has jumped them into second place of the NEHL.

Once again the Vipers energy level was sky high as they outskated and won battles all over the ice in completing the very impressive sweep of the talented Glades with a solid 3-1 win. After a scoreless first period JT Chamberlain would put the visitors up 1-0 with helpers from Noah Maercklein and Brendan White. The Vipers would then go up 2-0 just 37 seconds into the second period as Kyle Hentosh rifled a beautiful back door pass to Kyle Lynch who one-timed it home, which would eventually be the game winner. The Glades would cut the lead in half just 1 minute later, but with 9 minutes left in the game Kyle Lynch would redirect a laser from Alex Delvento to stretch the lead to 3-1, Dante Maribito also picked up an assist. Nick Firoientino went the distance in this one coming up with a couple of fine stops down the stretch

The Vipers would make the long trek to Vermont on Saturday and square off with the Glades on the beautiful campus of Norwich University. The Glades would strike first just 1:30 into the game but thats all they would get as the Vipers used 3 third period goals to cruise to the 5-1 win. The White line of Noah Maercklein (0-1-1), JT Chamberlain (2-1-3), who would score a remarkable goal up under the bar from 20 feet out, and Brendan White (1-1-2) would remain absolutely red hot. Kyle Lynch (1-1-2) and Dante Maribito (1-0-1) would add the other goals. Kyle Hentosh (0-2-2), Rob Murphy and Braden Haley would all add assists. The Vipers played with allot of energy which would force turnovers all over the ice. Aaron McDonnell stood tall in the net coming up with a couple key saves early on to keep this one close.

The Vipers started off their grueling weekend with somewhat of a disappointing tie on Friday night in NEHL action, loosing many battles and foot races resulted in the tie with the scrappy hard working Crusaders, Noah Maerklein would tie the game with 6:57 left on a very pretty goal as he walked out of the corner and went upstairs to knot the game, JT Chamberlain and Brendan White would add the assists. Nick Fiorientino and Aaron McDonnell would combine to play well in the cage

In the second half of a big league weekend the Vipers cashed in with an ugly 6-4 win over the Patriots, who gave the upstart Vipers all they could handle. Braden Haley(1-0-1), JT Chamberlain (1-1-2), Dante Maribito (2-0-2) and the red hot Brendan White (1-2-3) would find the back of the net for the home team. Kyle Hentosh (0-2-2), Kyle Lynch (0-1-1), Noah Maercklein (0-2-2) and Ryan Connearney (0-1-1) and Aaron Dollin (0-1-1) would all add helpers. The Vipers would jump out to 1 4-2 lead after 1 despite being down early. Brendan White would get what was the game winner just 2 minutes into the second period. The Vipers took on the PA Selects for the second time in a week on Saturday and despite playing well enough and thanks to a couple of big saves down the stretch by an outstanding Nashua goalie the Vipers were only able to walk away with a 1-1 tie. As always this one was a physical affair as each team picked up 9 penalties and a combined 10 in the second period. Nashua jumped out front just 55 seconds into the game and that's the only time they would see the back of the net. 5 minutes into the final frame and on the power play JT Chamberlain would take a pretty feed from Brendan White and roof the equalizer. Dante Maribito would take a nice pass into the slot, undress the goalie and face a wide open net only to have the puck roll off his stick. About half way through the third, Kyle Lynch would walk in on a breakaway with 4 minutes left and was robbed with a beautiful glove save and that's how this one would end. Aaron McDonnell would stand tall between the Vipers pipes in earning the tie.
