The third period started with a few phantom calls against the Vipers which left them playing shorthanded for most of the period. The Blazers netted a couple to make it 3 to 2 with ten minutes left in the game. The vipers were supported by some huge saves by the goaltending duo of Corey Sarazin and Trevor Ristino, which ended up being the difference for a victory for the vipers.
