“Coach, this class was unbelievable… We never worked so hard… Can we do this every week ? ”….        Ryan Lovell & Andrew Somerville

(Youth1 Hockey) - The bantam major season is always an exciting one for youth hockey players, as they have the opportunity to play in the USA Hockey National Championship. SuperSeries AAA, some of the premier youth hockey tournaments in the world, has four bantam major events in the opening month of the season, all of which will include teams that have a legitimate shot of playing for in the national championship.

Here is a look at those events.

New Jersey Super98 (Randolph, NJ)

This showcase will pit four very strong teams against each other. Two of the favorites in the AYHL will be in attendance as Team Comcast and the New Jersey Devils are both expected to be top 10 teams and compete for the Atlantic District spot at Nationals. The Mid Fairfield Yankees, who are no longer part of the AYHL, will try to get the season off to a strong start. The fourth team is an interesting one. The Greater Boston Vipers were a very good team last year, but they appear to be much improved and look forward to getting a shot at some top-notch competition

Zach Laramie
Greater Boston Vipers

Analysis: Laramie tends to keep his Greater Boston Vipers team in nearly every game. The 5'8”, 130-pounder has great lateral movement, is tremendous at playing the puck, reading situations when they are just beginning, and stoning the opposition on breakaways. He looks to improve on reacting to plays from behind the net, stopping shots while there is traffic in front and one timers on 2 on 1's.

 Keep up the good work.....
